A lifelong athlete, Dr. Ryan Rubin has always had a passion for sports and exercise. A competitor of soccer, track, and swimming since childhood Dr. Rubin has felt the benefits of sports science first hand. Chiropractors kept Dr. Rubin active after injuries, and physical strains throughout his youth, and ignited his interest in sports medicine. Helping keep others fit through training and inspiring his community to be their best self is the reason Dr. Rubin became a Chiropractor. Dr. Rubin is excited to be part of Synergy Chiropractic and Sports Rehabilitation, and be at the forefront of sports and family medicine.
Dr. Rubin received his Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology-Exercise Science from California State University, Northridge in 2012. While attending CSU Northridge, Dr. Rubin became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) as well as a Corrective Exercise Specialist, through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Following graduation, Dr. Rubin continued his education and began attending Palmer College of Chiropractic in San Jose, California, to pursue his Doctorate of Chiropractic. While at Palmer, Dr. Rubin treated participants in sports council events such as San Jose Rugby, Surf City Marathon, Turkey Trot, and NorthFace Endurance. Dr. Rubin Graduated in 2016 from Palmer then moved to care for the Southern California area.
Holding certifications in RockTape FMT, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), and National Strength and Conditioning Association; Dr. Rubin applies multiple techniques to create the best individualized and effective treatments possible for every patient. He joined the Synergy Chiropractic and Sports Rehabilitation center in 2016, allowing him to continue his growth as a Doctor of sports medicine and continue giving the best treatments possible.
