Dr. Jackson Bates received his Bachelors of Science from Pepperdine University and his Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College. Due to his excellent clinical care, and his academic performance, Dr. Bates was recognized by Palmer with the Virgil Strang Philosophy Award. He was also awarded departmental honors and was inducted into the International Honors Society of Pi Tau Delta.
In addition to his Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Jackson Bates is also a Functional Movement Specialist (FMS). Dr. Bates worked in the Veterans Affairs Health Care system in Palo Alto California, where he and Stanford medical residents provided pain relief and chiropractic rehabilitation to military service members. Dr. Bates specializes in pain management and rehabilitation. Specifically, he has a wealth of experience in sports rehabilitation, “prehabilitation”, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Dr. Bates believes in proactive preventative care, or as he liked to say, “Future-proofing your body”. This is achieved through a multimodal approach, where he utilizes various techniques to create a personalized treatment plan. Dr. Bates’s “future proofing” uses a three-pronged approach to reduce your pain, to get you functional, and to get you stronger. In his free time, Dr. Bates enjoys portrait photography, dogs of all sizes, and traveling.
